(January 3, 2012 – CARLSBAD, CA) – Soil Retention is proud to announce that Drivable Grass® permeable, flexible and plantable concrete pavement system has been approved by the Storm Water Management New Products and Materials Committee of Montgomery County, Maryland.

The Committee recommends the product for use as reinforced turf paving under the guidelines set forth in the 2000 Maryland Stormwater Management Design Manual. Maryland and Montgomery County are recognized as being in the forefront of the LID (Low Impact Design) movement nationally. And, Montgomery County is known as one of the more stringent in terms of their storm water management requirements. Their endorsement underscores the effectiveness of Drivable Grass® as a storm water BMP (best management practice) and provides a guideline for other agencies in their approval process.
